Student Start-up Innovation Policy (SSIP) Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp at L.M.College of Pharmacy

Student Start-up Innovation Policy (SSIP) programmes is an initiative by education department of Gujarat to support more than 1.4 million students of the state and help them innovate and start up early in their college days.

L. M. College of Pharmacy is honoured for being selected as a grantee nodal institution for a period of 3 years by GTU. SSIP in association with Oakbrook Business School had organised entrepreneurship awareness camp from 23rd to 25th January, 2019. The speakers for the session were Mr Chandramauli Pathak (Entrepreneurship expert), Mr. Amit Trivedi (Motivational Trainer), Mr. Padmin Bhuch (SME Development Expert) and Mr. Jayant Athawale (entrepreneurship expert). Topics Microlabs and basics of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial competence and success case study videos and motivation for entrepreneurs, were discussed. Motivational games were played to help students understand the theoretical concept of entrepreneurship and its challenges.

On the second day opportunities in Pharma sector, Patent related process, innovative mindset development and start-up policy and facilities in incubation centre were discussed.

Third day, students had Industrial visit to Lincon Pharmaceuticals for the exposure to newer technologies. After the lecture, an interaction session was arranged with the students to answer their queries.
