L. M. College of Pharmacy celebrated the 69th Republic Day with full zeal and zest as a part of PARTYCLES 2k18.
The celebration began with the Guard of honor which was led by Hansal Kumar along with Harshit Mandaliya. This was followed by the Flag Hoisting ceremony, led by the Chief Guest, Mr. Hemendra Nanavati (Head of the Department – Pharmaceutics & Pharm. Technology), Mr. Ramkishanbhai Prajapati (Non Teaching Staff Member – Pharmacology) and Honorable Principal Dr. Mahesh Chhabria. The faculty members and students also sang the National Anthem with patriotic fervor as the ceremony progressed.
The Principal, Mr. Hemendra Nanavati and Mr. Ramkishanbhai Prajapati beamed with happiness and pride as they addressed the students on this occasion. Principal sir in his speech said that we as citizens should strive to develop the country by performing our duties sincerely. Mr Nanavati sir not only talked about the sanctity of the occasion but also shared his experiences on what he has learnt from students in these years. The students honoured him with a standing ovation.
In addition to this, Mr. Yash Shah (B.Pharm Semester – 2) shared his views on Demonetization – A Bold Step or An Unnecessary Adventure.
Topper of B. Pharm Semester -2 Mr. Dhruv Patel was felicitated with the trophy on this occasion by Principal. This was followed by the distribution of certificates to the winners of Essay, Elocution, Painting, Rangoli, Debate, Ideation, Poetry, Quiz, Exhibition, Kabaddi, Volleyball & Counter Strike activities held during the Inter Class Competitions of PARTYCLES 2k18. Winner of poetry recitation – Yash Shah recited a wonderful poem on Corruption in India at the end.
Anoushka Bhat gave vote of thanks on behalf of LMCP.
At the end of the function, Hon. Principal sir sang the full national song – Vande Matram.
